چکیده

Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is a rare and severe neurotoxic encephalopathic state characterized by variable neurologic manifestations ranging from headache confusion to seizures, coma, subcortical vasogenic edema on imaging. PRES commonly induced chronic renal failure, hypertension, chemotherapeutic drugs, eclampsia. hypercalcemia uncommon not widely underlined in the literature. We underline case of 61-year-old female diagnosed with advanced breast carcinoma presented altered sensorium generalized limb weakness. She was found have malignant hypercalcemia, brain imaging demonstrated occipital frontal lobe, suggestive PRES. Her condition gradually improved after treatment hypercalcemia.
